The Artistry of Julie Elmer
Julie (Alsop) Elmer's love for art began at a very early age. She began with pencil sketches, but quickly moved on to charcoal, pastels, water colors, acrylics, and oil. Julie began to win local art contests during her high school years, and eventually continued to study art at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. While there, Julie studied all mediums and received her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Her experience at Bloomington provided many opportunities to expand her knowledge of varying techniques, style, and artistic cultures. Julie was fortunate to be selected for a trip to Florence, Italy to study art abroad.
Fast forward a few years and now Julie is passionately invloved in her art work again. Whether you find her at work in her studio in Noblesville, Indiana or painting at her farm in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, she will certainly be looking for the next subject of her craft. Julie lives in Noblesville with her husband , her two children.
